Dear flautist friends,
When I met Julien Bourin (edition finalist 2015 from the show Le Meilleur Pâtissier -M6-) and after tasting his cakes, the idea of developing a project together has become obvious. We then chose to go to each region of France and associate music and pastry recipes with each of them. Some pieces are written with a second ad libitum flute that will allow the youngest students in our classes to play with their elders in the gastronomic auditions that this collection will no doubt inspire you.
And as usual, a flute version(s) and piano as well as the piano only version are offered to you, performed by Jean-François Basteau, my talented friend pianist and composer, who has accompanied me on this great adventure from the start.
